How to prepare an exam photo or signature
- Open the official notice for your particular examination or application. Find its photo and signature requirements.
- Choose Photo or Signature. Enter the specified Min KB, Max KB and, if provided, pixel dimensions.
- Choose an image, select Resize & Compress, review the checks, and download the JPG only if it meets your form's requirements.
Important: If your portal requires a live photograph, a specific background, or a particular image format, follow the official instructions. This tool cannot guarantee that a portal will accept an image.
Physical dimensions: centimetres or inches alone do not specify pixel dimensions; you also need a DPI/PPI requirement or a stated pixel size. Avoid guessing when your notice is unclear.
Frequently asked questions
Do all examinations use the same photo or signature size?
No. Requirements can differ between exams, years and portals. Use your current official notice rather than copying someone else's settings.
The notice gives dimensions in centimetres. What should I enter?
Check for an accompanying pixel size or DPI/PPI requirement. Without one, centimetres alone cannot specify an exact pixel count.
